After that, I worked at one of the major audit and consulting firms, supporting companies that had just been hacked. I saw up close what an attack does, and not just to the bank account. Panic, sleepless nights, livelihoods suddenly hanging in the balance.
The bitterest part: most of it could have been prevented. That's exactly what drives us.
